Definitions
Service means the Freemote mobile app, website, and related support channels. User means any person using the Service. Remove Ads Purchase means a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks ad-free usage for the same store account. Store means Google Play or Apple App Store, which handles billing and refunds.
Usage Terms
Freemote is provided for lawful personal use with devices you own or are authorized to control. You are responsible for your network setup, pairing permissions, and device-level security settings. Feature availability varies by brand, firmware version, and model capabilities. Service behavior may change with app updates, store policy changes, or device API changes.
Eligibility & Purchases
Freemote currently offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase, not recurring subscriptions. Purchases are linked to your store account and can be restored where store policy allows. Refunds and billing issues are processed according to Google Play or App Store policies.
Intellectual Property & License
Freemote and its licensors keep ownership of all app software, branding, text, and assets. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal use. You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer, redistribute, or sell the Service unless required by law.
Warranty Disclaimer & Liability Limit
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freemote is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Where law permits, total liability is limited to amounts paid by you for the Service. Some jurisdictions may not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts may not apply to every user.
Governing Law & General Terms
These terms are governed by applicable local law unless mandatory consumer law states otherwise. If one clause is unenforceable, remaining clauses stay in full effect. These terms form the entire agreement for Service use and can be updated periodically. Continued use after updates means acceptance of revised terms.

What Information the App Processes
Freemote processes local network discovery data such as device names, IP addresses, and connection metadata to find and connect controllable devices on the same Wi-Fi network. Voice or microphone input is used only when you use voice features and is not used in the background while idle.
What We Do Not Collect or Sell
We do not sell personal data. We do not collect your contacts, photos, or precise location for app operation.
Third-Party Services
Freemote may use third-party providers for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising to improve app quality and support free usage. In-app purchases are handled by platform billing providers.
Data Retention
We keep only the data needed for the app to function. Saved device information is stored locally on your device and can be removed from within the app.
Your Choices and Controls
Permissions such as Local Network and Microphone are optional features and can be managed or revoked in your device system settings at any time.
